Connection to mobile .lrdata lost. Re-download images?

I have recently moved Lightroom classic to a new Mac and in the process the synced pictures has lost it’s connection with the mobile.lrdata file. There are 14k of images. Lightroom asks to connect with the file when klicking the exclamation mark , but the mac won’t let me locate the actual image in the mobile.lrdata file. I cold copy all the images from the lrdata file to an new folder, but manually connecting each image is not an option.  LR  does not present me with an option to connect all images as it does when an folder is missing.

I’m looking for an solution to re-download all images from the cloud as it is mainly pictures stored on my mobile.  I guess I somehow need to remove the old Synk setup and then set it up   again and re-download all images.  How would I go about doing that?

PS. The rebuild sync data does not solve the issue.
