I get this message when I try to import my images. I've been trying to figure out what to do for the last 2 hours and don't know what to do, Please help!

What drive is the destination folder on?

What drive is the catalog on?

The error message says it all: Lightroom has no permissions to write to the destination folder you chose in the import dialog. Choose a different folder, such as your Pictures folder. Or fix the permissons of your chosen destination.

You need to use the options available in your operating system i.e macOS or Windows to allow Lightroom to read and write to the drive / destination folder.
