Hi there,

I've been having this issue for a while. I believe my software is up to date - please see attached.

I tried the followings:

- connect my 6D with the cable. no luck.

- with the card reader I still cannot import directly from Lightroom - 'no photos found', see screenshot below. However, the card appears on my desktop and I can browse the photos in Finder.

If I copy the folder from the card to the desktop, then I can import it and work in Lightroom.

Very strange.

I'd really appreciate any help.

Many thanks,

Mau

First of all, please do not attach screenshots. Embed them in your message, so people do not have to download them to see them. Use this button:

I assume you use MacOS Catalina or Big Sur, and did not think it was important to tell us that. It always is important to mention things like that, because they could be the cause of your problem. There are new security settings in these versions of MacOS. Go to System Preferences - Security & Privacy and make sure that Lightroom has the necessary permissions:

Thank you so much, Johan.

That was the problem. I sensed it had something to do with OS update - Catalina - but I never had this issue with previous OS updates.

Thank you again, you made my day (and I wish I had asked 3 months ago...)

Cheers,

MS

I don't know anything about the Mac. However, if you check that box to, "Include subfolders" will that resolve the problem?
