I upgraded to v11.2 a couple of days ago and lightroom has been running fine. I was using Print today and working on a layout and lightroom has crashed and now crashes whenever I open it.
If I uninstall and reinstall will it keep my lightroom catalogue?
Yes -- uninstalling doesn't delete your catalog, your photos, or your preferences. If a simple uninstall/reinstall with the Creative Cloud desktop app doesn't fix the issue, you might consider using the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool.
