Crop padlock won't stay locked.

Just updated to 13.2 and my crop tool will not stay locked.

If I click into the photo, lock it, then exit crop mode it will be locked when I return to the crop mode. BUT, when I click on to the next picture it will be unlocked again. If I repeat this and return to the previous photo it too will be unlocked.  I'm a long-time user and know the program inside-out, and I've never had this issue before.

Anyone else experienced this? It's seriously messing with my workflow and slowing me down significantly.

UPDATE:

This definitely appears to be a bug of some kind.

If I grab a side of the image with the crop tool when unconstrained, then immediately drag it back to the original crop, the padlock suddenty locks of its own accord. Very unusual.

Close the lock before you make any crop adjustments.

Yup, as I said in the original post, I've done that but to no avail.

UPDATE 2:

If I click into a new photo and the padlock is unlocked, hitting reset on the crop tool also closes the lock.

I've been using lightroom since version 2.0 and have never seen anything like this.

Good shout, Johan! Dunno why I didn't think of that.  I'll give that a go.

Resetting preferences didn't work but I have found an acceptable work around in the meantime in case anyone else has this problem:

1) go to the first photo, click into crop mode, lock it and exit.

2) Sync setting with only 'crop' checked.

All the subsequent photos are then locked.
