crop tool delay

Hi all. I have a problem thats realy bothering me since Im a wedding photo editor and I edit hundreds of photos daily. Since the last update..whenever I press the crop tool..there is like 1 second delay since I can crop it. Before this update it never happened...I really dont know what to do

This happend since lightroom version 12.2.1 where crop tool worked perfectly

• In /preferences/performance/use graphics processor/, Does this behave differently if that option is off? (yes I know standard question)
• Is this when one image is selected or multiple images are selected (would think that should not matter, but???)
• Is this on an initial photo mod (one without lots of edits) or on a photo with lots and lots of masks/brushes? And does that matter?
• If you create a new catalog, and import a few samples, does that catalog also misbehave?

Hi and thanks for the reply. 

Crop 1 sec delay wokrs on every situation...edited photos..unedited ones....etc....BUT it has that 1 sec delay only the first time I press crop for a photo. the second time I press crop for SAME photo is instant. also turning off or on graphics procesor doesnt help

I have the same issue on my laptot and also on my desktop PC. Di you resolve this issue? No update helped with this for months.

Hi, unfortunately not, but I switched to Mac and Lightroom works 100x
better on macos

I am having this same issue. It just started over the past few weeks for me. Just suddenly cropping slows everythign down

The problem still occurs on both my computers (Windows). Tried everything but no luck resolving this annoying issue. 😕
