Could you please share the version of Lightroom from Help > About Lightroom Classic? Have you tried changing the collection when on the Map module? Has this started happening after a recent update to the operating system or Lightroom Classic? Are you using any VPN or Anti-malware applications that can restrict or interfere with Lightroom Classic?
Please go to the following location on Windows
Rename the Caches folder as 'Caches.old' (add .old at the end)
