Default Aspect Ratio set to original

Lightroom has this issue that is previously addressed in several forums panels and discussion pages regarding the issue. When you import photos into Lightroom, regardless of the Original Image size they were shot on, Lightroom does not apply this straight ahead. When you edit photos you need to manually set the Crop to Original in order for it to work. It would be really useful if you could give us users a setting where we could choose what our preferred default aspect ratio is. Copying the crop size to multiple images is a solution to this problem but still its an extra step that could be solved and fixed, I believe easily. If it can be done in Photoshop then I suppose you could implement this in Lightroom Classic / Lightroom software as well.
