Hi Guys
I have mistakenly deleted a photo from Lightroom CC 10.1.1 using the delete from disc option (using a Mac). I thought it would have gone to the recycle bin but apparently not. Unfortunately I don't have a back up copy of it (my bad, will adjust workflow accordingly), but my question is why has it not gone to the recycle bin? Is there a setting I can enact so that deleted photos do go to the recycle bin? It seems a bit harsh to literally disappear with one missed press.
Thanks for your time

As the photos are on One Drive I went looking there via the web app rather than my Finder window. Thankfully there is a recycle bin on One Drive so found it and restored.
Cheers for takinbg the time to reply.

The images do go to the recycle bin, but may not show. Some users have found Force Quiting Finder (Cmd+Option+Esc, then select Finder from list) is sufficient for the deleted images to become visible again. If this doesn't work, then you would need to source an Undelete application, which for macOS is easier said than done, although not impossible.
