Issue:

Currently I experienced the following bug. When using the develop module and applying changes by pressing enter (i.e. Crop Tool or Guided Upright), followed by pressing "L" to dim the screen, LR CC deletes the currently selected photo from the library and drive. The bug doesn't occur if the numpad enter is pressed instead.

I didn't remap any hotkeys or shortcuts in LR CC. I'm not using any tools like Keyboard Maestro.

  • Lightroom Classic Version Number: 11.1
  • OS Version Number: MacOS 12.1.0 (M1)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Switch to develop module
  2. Use Guided Upright, apply changes by pressing enter
  3. Dim screen brightness by pressing "L" key

Actual result: LR CC deletes the selected photo from the library and the drive.

Try resetting LrC Preferences file as outlined at the below article. BTW I'm not seeing this issue on my Windows 10 system using LrC 11.1.

I just gave that a try on my new MBP M1 16" Max. Using the L key after applying the GU changes works normally for me.

I am also on Monterey 12.1 and LrC 11.1
