In LightRoom Development, does erasing the history and resetting the settings remove the denoising previously done?

If you reset the image in the develop module, the denoising will be removed as well yes.

Clearing the history does not reset the image, only the edit history log.

A clarification: If you do the Develop menu command Develop > Clear History, that clears the contents of the History panel without resetting the develop settings.

 

But if you right-click a step in the History panel and do Clear History Above This Step, that will undo the settings applied in the removed history steps.

 

It's most unfortunate that Adobe used the term "Clear History" for commands that have very different effec
