Attempting to import from my Nokon card to an External drive called BBB. This appears when I select the images.

No option to select any drive to save to, much less BBB itself. Why would this suddenly happen?

The first dialog fooled you. It has nothing to do with your problem. You have selected 'ADD' at the top of the dialog. That means the images are added to the catalog without copying or moving them, and so there is no destination folder.

Thanks for catching that Johan.

Made the change and can now see some of my drives, but not BBB yet I can view it's contents on Explorer.

Just ignored the destination and let the import proceed. LR put the images where they belong in BBB.
