Develop Module GPU Problems

I have two issues with LrC and the Develop Module. One is an annoyance and the other a real problem. Firstly, I have an RTX 3070 card in my laptop. No matter if I have the card enabled or not, or whether I'm only using the built in Intel UHD Graphics instead, these two problems occur. The first is that in the Dev module, the icons on the presets disappear when I mouse over them. Weird, but ok. Even if I have GPU turned off in the preferences this happens. The second, and more egregious error, only happens when I have the GPU on (either Nvidia or Intel) and that is the main screen gets undocked and appears to float in the upper left. I have tried uninstall and reinstalling LrC, going back several versions, uninstalling the Nvidia drivers, going back a few years in drivers, using game drivers, using studio drivers, etc. Yet the problem persists.

Clearly, I could just turn off GPU, but that seems like admitting defeat. And the issue with the icons is independent of having GPU on or off. There's a bug somewhere, and my guess is it's with LrC...otherwise why would the issue persist even when the Nvidia card is disabled? It's really bothersome. I do like LrC and all it has to offer, but these bugs make it hard to deal with...and if I have to turn off the GPU on my laptop to use it, what's the point when there are other alternatives.

I have seen a few people note the "floating window" issue, but not really the disappearing icons.

Any help would be appreciated as I have run the course of uninstalls/reinstalls/new drivers/old drivers/etc

Ok. Problem solved.

I found another post, https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/overlay-problems-with-usages-of-gpu-sup...that suggested it may be due to monitor scaling. If I set scaling to 100%, all was solved. However, every other scale resulted in the same odd behavior...unless I set DPI compatibility to "application." Once done, all has returned to normal operation.

In your screen capture it appears that the selected image is a JPEG, not a RAW, Not all Presets work with non RAW. If you select a RAW image, does the same action occur?
