Develop tif files on LR classic

I was trying to edit some old scanned photos that are .tif files and I cannot open them on the develop seccion of lightroom.

That screenshot is the import dialog, not the develop module. The images are probably dimmed because they are already imported.

Maybe a long shot but some older scanners generated files that do no conform to the tif standard and Lightroom classic will not be able to edit those. Trick is to find them in finder/explorer, open them in photoshop and save them over the existing file from within photoshop. They should work in Lightroom after doing that. You shouldn't need to reimport after that. Just open and save the actual file outside of Lightroom.

Old as in old prints just now scanned, or old as in scanned years ago?
