Development previews are not consistent with the latest development settings

I have tens of photos to be edited manually and I'm struggling to do so because the previews I see in the Develop tab are not updated with the development settings of each photo. When I select a photo, it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to load the image and at that point, the preview is getting updated according to the image settings. I'm not arguing about the time it takes to load the images because it can be due to my low-performing laptop, but the fact that when I select the next image, the previous image's preview turns back to incorrect settings, making it difficult to spot the differences between the photos.

Checking other threads around this, some person blames a syncing issue when Dehaze is being used.

I recorded my screen to show the issue when I'm switching between two images:

The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

If Lightroom doesn't start correctly the please see "Solution 2" in the document behind the link below.

Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. Please make also sure that you have installed the Studio version and not the Game Ready version of your NVidia driver.

If this all doesn't help, please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.
