LRC: Version 14.2
OS: Sequoia 15.3.2
Mac M2 Max w/32BG
Stupidly, I reorganized my photo library outside of LR. I am trying to rectify this by re-importing pictures while in LRC so I can access them through LRC. There seems to be a disconnect between my Source window and my Destination window. Here's a screenshot of the library folder structure as it appears natively in the Library module...
Clearly, no "Places" folder. Trying to import images from the same hard drive into LRC called "Places" which does NOT appear in the above screen shot. So I click on the import buutton and here's a screenshot of the source drive... which looks correct... including the "Places" folder.
So, I try to create a "Places" folder in the destination window and I get the prompt "The folder 'Places' already exists." and heres a screen shot of the Destination window... with "Places" already in there.
All images are on one source drive... 101Photo.
My question is why isn't the "Places" folder appearing in the folder structure of the Library module, outside of Import... then appears in both source and destination windows in the Import mode?
Very confused. Thanks for any help.

Folder panel does not have to show the same list as the Import Source and Destination panels. Folder panel will only show folders for which at least one photo has been imported into LrC. In the Import dialog box, both Source and Destination list of folders should allow you to access ANY folder on your computer. So, in your case, once you import a photo into Places, it then should appear in the LrC Folder Panel.
