On my Mac, i have used the offline activation method for Lightroom 6.14 in the past. i moved to a new computer this week, and thought i had successfully activated LR on the new computer. however, when i look at the Help menu, i see Sign In rather than Sign Out, which leads me to believe that the offline activcation wasn't successful.
does anyone know if this method has been deprecated?
thanks
Ken

Adobe offers no answers or support for legacy Lr6. You will only find (now rare) posts that describe others experiences.

It might well be that legacy Lr6 is totally 'Dead', and v14 is the way forward with a subscription to the Photography Plan 20GB.

I know it worked for someone a week ago. But if Adobe is going to make changes, they will most definitely not announce it publically.

Either the method works and you can use Lr 6, or it didn't work, and you can't use Lr 6. So ... can you use Lr 6?

i need to wait another few days until the 7-day period expires from the date i installed it, to see if it's activated, or just was working for the 7-day provisional period.
the reason i asked is because the "sign out" option isn't availbable under the Help menu, which suggests to me i'm not really logged in, and it's not activated.
we'll see in a few days.

You activated it offline, its possible that's the correct outcome.
