Downgrade catalog or use new version of LC on an OS that doesn't support it?

Hi! I use Lightroom Classic for my college. I have a catalog that I accidentally upgraded to v14 using my college computers, and now my own computer (which I will need to use to complete my assessments) won't open my catalog because the version of Lightroom is too new. My computer is a MacbookPro 2015, which the OS Ventura does not support, and LC v14 requires Ventura.

Is there a way to downgrade my catalog? Or upgrade LC anyway? Or some other method? Or have I lost all of my college work and have absolutely no means of being able to work on my assessments? It's required to be able to work on our photos at home, and I can't afford a new computer.

Upgrading your catalog creates an upgraded copy. The old catalog should still be in your catalog folder too, in a subfolder. I don't remember the exact name of that subfolder, but you can't miss it. Replace the upgraded catalog files by the old ones and you're back to the pre-upgrade stage.
