Downloading photos

I just got a new camera (a Fujifilm XT4) and I shoot in RAW. I just tried to 'import' photos from my camera to Lightroom. I got the following message -- "The files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom (155)"

My lightroom is updated.

Do I need to shoot in a different format to be able to use Lightroom, or is there something I need to do within Lightroom to be able to import these photos?

I always shot in RAW with my older Fujifilm camera, and never had an issue importing to Lightroom.

Thoughts?

Thx

What is your Lightroom Classic version? The exact version. Current would be v12.4

You'll need Lightroom 12.2 or higher to work with RAW files of the Fuji XT4.
