"Previously, when making adjustments to a 360-degree panorama it could result in a seam appearing around the merged edges, especially if you edit Clarity or Dehaze. Starting with this release, you can make seamless edits to 360-degree panoramas, even when adjusting Clarity or Dehaze. This feature is currently not supported in the Camera Raw filter in Photoshop."
Note the reference to Clarity and Dehave.
Normally, improvements in Camera Raw get incorported in Lightroom Classic at the same time. While the Lightroom 2.4 release notes mention edge-aware editing, the Lightroom Classic 8.4 release notes do not. This could have been an oversight, or perhaps the feature is missing from 8.4.
