When I try to use the Lrc Edit In function to either go to PS or to one of the Lrc plug ins, Lrc locks up. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Lrc a couple of times, but it still locks up when I try to use Edit In. If I choose any other command such as flip vertical or show in explorer, the function works. I even tried installing the previous version of Lrc, but I got the same result. I have no idea what to do next.

Usually the issue is PS does not launch, or the third party app does not start. And for the third party app, you do not see an export started. In that case the culprit is that the original photo is missing as far as the catalog is concerned.

So, are the image(s) you are trying to Edit in Photoshop missing? Does the thumbnail preview in the grid view or the filmstrip have an !

Mind you, when this happens, LrC does not normally freeze, might be something else going on.

Thank you for your response. Todd Shaner's suggestion to reset the Preferences solved the problem.

If the above does not help, and perhaps even if it sort of helps, consider that this may be a GPU driver issue.

In preferences, turn off use Graphics Processor, see if that helps.

Also as exporting is involved, you could try unchecking in the same preference area the option to use GPU on exports. that could also indicate a driver issue.

You might want to post in a reply your GPU make/model and driver version as LrC reports it (/Help/System Info/)
