LRC 15.0.1
PS 2026
I have an issue when I'm taking an image from LRC to PS to edit. When I save that image in PS it comes back to LRC without being added to the collection the original was in.
It means I have to go to Catalogue - All photographs to find it then add it manually to the collection I'd grouped it in.
Any ideas. Thank you.
I'm also can't reproduce this issue on my machine. However, I work with Windows.

I can't reproduce your issue on my Mac. The Photoshop edited image always appears in the collection that I'd selected the image in. Steps that I used:
1. Selected image in collection
2. Used Cmd+E to send photo to Photoshop 27.0.0 (release version from late October 2025)
3. Edited image in Photoshop
4. Used Save (i.e. Cmd+S) to save image
5. Saved image appeared in Collection from step 1 above
If your procedure differs, then please specify where we differ.

Apologies for the delay in my reply. Your steps appear to be my steps too with the exception of step 5!

I have the same issue as you do. I can't seem to be able to add it to a collection either.

If this doesn't help try to uninstall Photoshop by using the Adobe Creative Cloud Application. When asked, keep preferences! After this reinstall Photoshop again.
If this doesn't help the nest step is to reinstall both apps Lightroom and Photoshop. Please follow the steps below:
1. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Client and uninstall both Photoshop and Lightroom Classic. When asked, keep preferences!
2. Install Photoshop first and then Lightroom Classic. The right order is very important here!
If this doesn't help try the reinstallation with removing the preferences also.
