So Im doing all my edits for a photo in LR Classic and once I am done I right click the photo and use the "Edit in" button to get into photoshop. The floor in the photo is dirty so I clean it up and then once im done I export the photo as a JPEG. When I go back to LR Classic the DNG is completely reverted back with none of my edits that I worked on. Why, please I am so frustrated...

Did you re-import the DNG into LrC?
What does the history panel in LrC show for this DNG? Please show us a screen capture of the History Panel in the Develop Module for this photo. Please use the "Insert Photos" icon to include the screen capture in your reply. Do NOT attach files.

Thank you I was able to get my edits back because of this, completely forgot to check the History. Do you know why it does this though? It also removed the Flagged Filter I had on it so I thought I lost the photo entirely. Got it and have the edits now thank you. To answer your question I did not re-import to LrC, after I exported the DNG from PS I tabbed back into LrC and the photo had all the edits removed.

The top item in the history is "From Metadata" which usually means that you have told LrC to read the metadata from the file.
