editing photos in external program does not work anymore for new imported photos

I imported a new series of photos and can not edit them in an external programm anymore (PS, Topaz, Nik collection).  This is only for the new serie I imported not for previous imported pictures.  I have the latest versions of LR and PS and work on Mac. Can somebody please help.  Thank you.

Problem solved ... the pictures were loaded to another hard drive.  My mistake.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
