I edited my photo in LRC and then performed denoise at about 70%.  Photo looks good while still on my macbookpro.  But when added to a collection that syncs with iPad pro, the photo resolution is pretty bad.  What am I doing wrong?

Sync from Lightroom Classic to the Lightroom eco-system is crippled, syncing smart previews that are 2560 pixels on the longest dimension. There is no way to sync the full-resolution original.  Adobe stated many years ago that they don't plan to add more features to Lightroom Classic sync.

The best you can do is to import that file into Lightroom Desktop, which will then sync the full-resolution original to your other devices.
