I'd like to print on my epson p700 by exporting my photos fro LRC to Epson Media printer however it isn't listed under the export tab and I can't figure out how to install it in that dropdown.  I can access the epson media printer outside of lrc but not within.

please help

thanks

Can you explaing this in more detail? I have never heard of that, and a Google search for "Epson Media Printer" turns up nothing. Is Epson Media Printer supposed to be a LrC plugin?  Check under File -> Plug In Manager. If you installed it, does it show up there?

At the very top of the Export dialog screen, there is a "Export To" drop down. Have you checked there? I see a couple of my LrC plugins listed there, but nothing I would ever use. If that is where you expect to find it, I'm pretty sure Epson Media Printer would have to be installed after LrC.

I have excellent results printing to my Epson P800 printer in the Print Module of LrC, letting LrC manage color.

thanks, many epson users have found it easier to export their photos to the EMP, similar to LRC's but simpler.  I seem to be unable to access my epson paper profiles though they are all listed.  IT's worked for years and two printers but not I get a messagee that the profile is missing.  I tried to clarify it through another thread but got overly confused and decided to try the epson media printer

I'll try your suggestions tonight

thanks again

I have no clue what Epson software you are referring to. Perhaps some screenshots may help show that.

Also for the printer in question, the following link points to the various offerings, is it one of these?

I, too, have never heard of Epson Media Printer, and I’ve been using Epson inkjet printers for almost 30 years. But based on your description, are you actually referring to Epson Print Layout software? Because that sounds like your description: Epson Print Layout is a nice, simple, popular, color-managed Epson application for printing.

I have to admit I don’t use Epson Print Layout (I’m happy print directly from Lightroom Classic), but because Epson Print Layout is an application that receives images, you can probably add it to the External Editors list shown below in Lightroom Classic Preferences (click the Choose button shown below to select Epson Print Layout). If it lets you add Epson Print Layout, it’s probably possible to use the command Photo > Edit In to have Lightroom Classic send a photo directly to Epson Print Layout. (But I haven’t tried it.) I’m not using the word “export” because this is not under the File > Export submenu.

Thanks for your thoughful replies.  It is indeed Epson Print Layout.  Sorry for the confusion.  I always use the LRC print module but it kept giving me the profile is missing or invalid even though all the papers were listed. I looked at Matt Kloskowski's printing course and a few you tube videos to try to fix it as I had a series of holiday photos to bring to an out of state family event.

Back in NY and I see I fused language in different videos.
I reinstalled all the profiles and everything is working as it usually does.  I would lke to install the Epson layout plug in and I'll try your suggestion.

Again thanks for the quick response and clarifying I was incoherent  🙂
