I get this error message
"The following files were not imported because they could not be read or the destination folder is not writable"
I read that I needed to change privacy and Full Disk Access permissions, have done so, and restarted the computer.
It seems to import several photos, then stops.
I thought it could be a catalog problem, so started a new catalog - the same error.
It's possible, but less likely, that the photos on my iPhone can't be read.
I searched for other suggestions before creating this post
iPhone 13, Lightroom Classic 10.4 (most recent version my OS will accept)
Thank you
Ira
Support for the iPhone 13 was only added with Version 11 of Lightroom-Classic.

Support for new cameras, and phones, usually happens when the next upgrade or update happens (maybe about the time of Adobe MAX?)
Apple ProRaw could be the problem- Does the iPhone shoot in a DNG format? DNGs would normally be supported in all versions of LrC.

THANK YOU!
I think that will solve the problem!
I am running macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and Lightroom 10.4 on the laptop
I have macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and Lightroom 11.5 on the desktop and it does import.
I always import from memory cards so never thought that the iPhone would be causing the problem.
Will update macOS and Lightroom post haste!
