Error message when trying to open a catalog

Lightroom.classic.error.message.9.12.23.jpg

Upon attempting to open a catalog I had recently closed, I received this error message: "Lightroom cannot use the catalog named "...." because it is not writable and cannot be opened.....  

Other catalogs open fine, but not this one.  PLEASE HELP

I was able to fix this.  Somehow, the folder was changed to read only.  Once I reset permissions, all works.  Phew - 20 years of whale and dolphin  research photos now available again
