Export Dialog Box doesn't routinely appear

New Here ,

I saw at least one other thread on this with no practical answer.

For some reason, the Export diaolog box will not come up.  It comes up only one time when I restart everything, allows me to export one time, then it won't come up again.

I'm on the newest 14.2.

Extremely frustrating and I really don't believe several people are just mysteriously getting corrupted catalogs, etc.

Need this fixed ASAP!

Update:  I could hear my computer churning for quite a bit.  After it finally settled down, the Export box works now.  I'm not sure if it was hung up trying to Render previews or what?  I don't recall this happening before but I'm surely happy I can export again!

A suspicion

When you first launch LrC, do all the photos show up as existing. And after a bit of time, do they go missing per LrC?
