Hi, looking for help with this issue as have spent a lot of time over the past week attempting to fix it - and i still cant.

When i export from lightroom 13.4 - using the standard export dialog i have all metadate ticked and i havent ticked remove person info or location info.

Yet when i export - location data and caption and keywords are not visible in the exported file.

I have reset LRC preferences.

Any help greatly appreciated

What is the Image Format chosen in the Export dialog box?

How are you checking to see if metadata is in the exported file? Please be specific and detailed.

The image format is jpeg

I enter the metadata - as atatched image and then export. I am sending the images to a stock library and they have checked a number of completed images - but all are without metadata.

I also posted one of the images on another forum and someone there kindly checked it with exiftool, and couldnt view the metadata.

I aslo reimported the image back into lightroom- and strangely i could see the metadata in my panel

  • Where is that photo published at?
  • What tools exist at that site as to altering what info is shown?

Maybe try exporting to JPG with otherwise the same settings, and see how those results compare against PNG. My understanding is that EXIF metadata is not so well, or in some cases not at all, supported with PNG: for inclusion and/or for later interpretation.
