G'day,

I could use some help as I am not even getting an error message.

I am trying to import my Photoshop Elements 10 catalogue into lightroom classic(I'll verify now that it is not the cloud-based lightroom). I can start the import, select the correct catalogue, and start the import. I get to  6.8% of "step 1 (of  3 preparing catalogue)and the import window disappears, no error message and no files imported.

Things tried so far(or forced upon me due to system failure)

1. complete reinstall and restoration of files in Photoshop Elements 10

2. Re-installation of Lightroom classic

3. forced repair of photoshop elements 10 catalogue

4. optimized photoshop elements 10 catalogue

5. Verified the catalogue is on a local HD, and that local HD has ample space.

6. Imported file directly from HD without Catalogue information (works fine but need to keyword 10k images again)

I've attached the help>System Info below in case that's useful.

How much free space in percent (%) is available on that C drive, that your LrC catalog is located in?

Looking for at least 20%, some would say 30%

According to the help files photoshop express versions 8-15 are supported by lightroom classic. They are defibately not supported in the cloud version which might be my eventual destination.

One thing that you may or may not have done, that is required, close PSE, close PSE Organizer.

Yes, I did make sure they were closed. The migrate option is not available under file, rather it is file> import from photoshop elements .

Thanks for all your feedback.
