File names in Lightroom Classic

I have LR running on both my Macs (Catalina and Big Sur) and keep it updated always.
I do initial edits in LRc and then final edits in PS.  As i close down PS, it asks me if i want to save and i say Yes.
Why does it always add the word 'edit' to the file name?  How can i stop it doing this?  I find it so annoying, having to click into the file name, backspacing over '-edit' before i can save it?
By virtue of it being a .psd file in my catalog, I know that I've made edits to it, so i don't need telling!
Any ideas how to get round this, please?
