When DXO converts the RAW image to DNG there is a initial rendering of the data so a DXO recipe applied to the file. So in essence the RAW data has been pre-cooked so you are no longer comparing apples with apples. Maybe a develop profile and capture sharpening, just my take.

In Lightroom Classic there are options that you can use to apply your own Default Develop settings for Profiles and or Presets at import of the RAW image.
