Filename search crashes Lightroom classic partially when using a very long search term

I tried searching for a lot of filenames at once (900) to match files on a client selection. I used the filter for filenames and after the search executes (which takes several minutes) a lot of Lightroom features don't function any more.  For example I can't develop or tag any more photos or move them to collections. It worked with similar large searches (650).

The input string which includes the file names is comma separated and over 9000 characters long.

The problem is, I cannot clear the search so the filename search is broken for me, since Lightroom restores the long search after a restart, so I cannot clean the search box, since the search executes after every restart.

Is there any workaround to clear the filename filter without executing the search (which crashes Lightroom partially)?

Try resetting LR's preferences:

The preferences file stores lots of the user-interface state. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.
