Find / Search in Library Filter does not work

I am on MAC OS Sonoma  and updated to LR CC 14    Now I cannot use Find / Search in Library Filter  even in Metadata

Please be more specific. Give an example of what you are searching for, and what does (not) happen when you do this. Please note that the filter works with a previous selection, so if you select a certain collection or folder, then the filter only works on the images in that particular collection or folder.
