I received a flash drive from a friend with pictures and he wanted me to edit them on my LrC. I imported them onto LrC, but it cant find the files... I opened the files on my other computer and they open with Portrait Pro Studio Max. How do I get LrC to find the file so I can edit them? I'm a beginner on LrC and PS, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!
It sounds as though you did an "ADD" import, which basically leaves the images where they are and just references them from that location. If you then remove the flash drive from the system, then obviously LrC cannot find them. If that's the case, reconnect the flash drive and LrC should see the images again.
