Fixed: Error when trying to email from Lightroom Classic 10.0

i just upgraded to lightroom classic 10 from 9.4  and can not email photos I get an error

"Internal error has occurred :?:0: attempt index field "font" (a nil value)

i disabled all plugins and got the same error

checked email account manager and my email is validated 

anyone else having that problem?

Some plug-ins may not be compatible with v10. I know I have a few by  JF that I need to replace. Bring up your plug-in manager and check the plug-ins. 

Hmm, what about that gmail one? Check all of them.

No, I do not see this causing the error, but something to check.

P.S., had a suspicion (false) that the Logitech Options plug-in would be shown, buggy plug-in, has caused similar problems.

This is a critical problem for me when running my business---I export individual photos all the time via email and this has made it so clunky.  I do hope they fix this soon.

No way of knowing, and the folks at Adobe can't even give us an estimate.  It's been 15 days now!

Fortunately, I discovered this error early and was able to revert back to 9.4 with the latest catalog backup.  I'm waiting for the 10.xx update to try it again.  Will definitely make sure my catalog is backed up in the event I have to revert again.  Also discovered that some of the photos in the 9.4 catalog were not properly converted to the 10 catalog format and were unreadable.  Another good reason to revert.  Didn't expect these kinds of issues with an Adobe product.

I did revert back to v9.4 with no problem. Awaiting a fix. Very disappointed with Adobe responsiveness.

I'm gave the same issue ... I was into Adobe online help for well over an hour and half and they still didn't fix it 🙄🙄. I uninstalled and then reinstalled on their advice .. no change .. still the error .. the took over my computer... no change still the error .. surely this should be sorted by now .. basic day to day task export an email and still can't do it .. I've noticed they are still taking my monthly payment.. obviously didn't have issues on that one ... 

come on Adobe sort is out it's giving you a bad reputation..

Update--Just heard from Tech support---The earliest we can expect a patch is sometime towards the end of December.  The technician explained that 10.0 was written for Mojave--not Catalina--or Big Sur.  In other words. anyone running the last two releases of Mac OS will have this problem.  The reason he claimed that the fix is taking so much time is that they want to get it right this time so that it runs on both Catalina and BigSur.  I have no idea if this issue is a problem for Windows users. 

Anyway--what a screw up.

Thanks alot for the follow-up report.  Doesn't sound like a legitimate reason since 9.4 works fine on Catalina.  Why would they write something backwards and break it?  Sticking with 9.4 for now and if I need color grading, can go to ACR in PS.  Agreed - a screw up and their lack of attention has lowered my opinion of Adobe customer service.
