Flagged photos not staying flagged after editing

This is driving me INSANE. LOL

I have a flagged photo, i go to edit in Dehancer app, it saves and removes the flag... 

I really have no idea how else to explain it.

That sounds like Dehancer is stripping Metadata. You'd need to talk to them.

Removes what flag?

After external app you get new file that was never flagged - and I would say it should stay this way, because user flagged original, not the new image.

Also flags was not even part of metadata until recently - it's Lightroom only thing, so your expectations that it should be inherited from original is false.
