Hi everyone,
I've imported a batch of photos into my Lightroom Classic CC catalog, but I've noticed that flags don't seem to be working anymore. In particular, I use eject and pick. The keyboard shortcut "x" pops up saying the photo is rejected, but doesn't appear so in the toolbar, and choosing Photo>Delete Rejected Photos does not delete rejected photos.
It appears the only way to reject right now, for me at least is to right click a photo in grid view, and select reject photo from there.
Bit of a pain as I cycle through quickly and decide if I'm keeping or not.
Is anyone else noticing this, or maybe even know why?
Thanks in advance!
-Tom
Hi Tom,
I'd recommend you to first try these two things:-
- Reboot your computer.
- Reset LR's preferences: How to set Lightroom Classic CC preferences
Let us know the outcome.
Thanks,
Akash

This is a chronic issie for me. No matter how often I reboot the computer (Mac Sequoia 15.2) or cycle through "J", or reset the LR preferences. It may start to show the flag icon for a few days, but then it reverts to no icon. The images are flagged, because when I ask it to select flagged images, they are properly selected. But in Grid, filmstrip, loupe, it doesn't matter... the flag icon is constantly disappearing.
It's annoying af.
Been happening for a couple months now (It's Jan 15, 2025)
