Ok, guys let's go.
I'm Professional Photographer, and I work with LR for so many years and versions, original versions, of course. Windows and Mac.

On my Mac, the lastest version stacks a lot of bugs and I will try to list them, and furely I will be grateful for any help.

1. Import Bug Folder 0 Files

a) When I import any new folder, and it done... It always show 0 files right of the folder's name.

b) The files thumbnails appear on the bottom bar, and I can edit, for sure. But, If I rate it, doesnt appear any star.

c) The "solution" is to close and open LR, after that the folder shows the real files number and the rating system start to work normally. But this method is boring and is not "workful". Do you guys have a real solution?

2. Rating System Bug

a) As I've mentioned above, sometimes the rating doesnt works. Doesnt show the stars bellow the thumbnail.

b) When I filter, still doesnt working.

c) Same "solution" above: Close and open LR again.

3. AI DeNoise

a) When I enhance a file, normally it have to create a virtual copy (stacked or not) from the original file, and show it on bottom bar. But as usual, it doesnt...

b) There is no way to use this funcion as a batch? Like all the AI masks work? Just copying the settings and recalculating it automatically?

c) Same "solution" above: Close and open LR again. And them, all the "copies" start to show.

--------------

The must important thing I'm looking for here is: To stop closing and open everytime, ever step, to "fix" this stucked functions. Somebody help?

When Lightroom isn't performing as expected, it's usually corrupt preferences. Here's how to reset them:

I have the same issue as issue #1: count shows zero files. If I move files out of the folder, the counter goes negative.

I think I've seen bug #2 but since I have rebooted LR, I'm not sure. I'll keep an eye on it.

Resetting the preferences was already suggested. I would advice you not to use the key combo for that, but to completely delete the preferences file so Lightroom has to recreate it from scratch. If that does not work, then try what happens when you create a new catalog, import a few images fresh and then try to do the other things like enhance. Your catalog may be corrupted. Finally if that does not work either, then use a different account on your computer and try again.
