Folder not showing up in catalog after import

So weird - never seen this before.  I import folders to an external drive.   I see all my other folders, but this one I don't see anywhere.   I see the image thumbnails at the bottom after the import, but no folder anywhere in the left-hand column.   Any advice would be appreciated to the max! Thank you!

Check that you have 'Show Photos in Subfolders' enabled. You find it listed under the Library module Library menu.

Select one of the photos and choose 'Photo - Go to Folder in Library'. That will show the folder.
