What happens that makes you say it "is not working". Please be specific and detailed. If there is an error message, please quote the exact complete unedited word-for-word error message.

What is your version NUMBER of Lightroom Classic?

There's no error message. My problem is that when I type the name of the folder into the Finder on my mac, it doesn't come up, I have to unzip and search for it tediously. I have the folders filter set to all. This function works on my pc (windows) without any problems.

version is 14.1.1 released, camera raw 17.1

thanks for your time

You start by talking about the folder panel in LrC, then you say you type the name of the folder into Finder. I'm not following you.

okay, I'll try to explain it again. In lighroom classic, library, on the left side I have a column where there is a box Folders, specially filter folders and there when I enter the name of the folder on pc it works beautifully and when I do the same task on mac it does not work. Same folder, same version of the program and catalog. I have the filter set the same on all. Thank you for any help and sorry, did i explain it better now?

Do you also note the upper and lower case?

What do you mean with "it does not work"?

Is the folder list empty after you enter the search term or what's showing in the list?

Do you have tried to reset the preferences: How to reset Lightroom Classic preferences (adobe.com)

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I do consider upper and lower case.
When I say "it does not work," I mean that after entering the word, nothing appears at all, even though I know the folder exists in the catalog because it works fine on my PC.
So do you think the only solution is to reset the preferences?

I don’t know if it’s the only solution, but it's a try. As I wrote I would save the preferences before doing the reset.

I'm a Windows user and here it works. I can't test it on a Mac.
