Freezing on Export

Since the newest update to Lightroom when I export reducing the image size of the photo and adding a watermark it freezes every single time for a couple of minutes before it will finally export. During that time I can't do anything else on my computer either, everything is frozen. I am using a Macbook Pro with Monterey 12.6.1

For the watermark, are you applying a shadow?

Try resetting your Lightroom preferences:

Quit Lightroom Classic.
MacOS: Press and hold the Shift + Option keys.
Windows: Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys.
While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom Classic.
When asked, select "Yes".
