Fujifilm Tether Shooting Plug-in PRO (Mac)

I am attempting to do tethered shooting out of Lightroom Classic to a Fuji X-T3. I have Creative Cloud desktop and keep everything auto updated, including my camera's firmware.  I purchased the plug in via Adobe Exchange and it shows it is acquired.  However, it does not seem to be installed and none of the instructions are accurate to what I see on my screen.  I am signed in to Adobe Creative Cloud, synching is on, so I am at a loss as to how to get this to work. I cannot seem to find it via the Plug-In Manager, for example.  I would not be happy to have spent $80 uselessly, so I am hoping someone can give me instructions that I can follow.  Any guidance appreciated.

First up, please accomplish the steps below as to share your actual version and OS info. Oh, never trust auto updates.

In LR click on Help, click on System Information, click on Copy. Paste that info into a reply, at least from first line down to just past Plug-in info.

Also, and I have not checked on this yet, but some cameras need to have an SD card actually installed for tethering to work, not all, some.

hmm, I was going to check at this link, but it only talks of Canon and NIKON; A list of cameras that can be tethered to Lightroom Classic and Lightroom 6

Thanks for the info. I have looked at all that and the upshot was to purchase from Adobe the plug-in (via Exchange).  the issue is getting Lightroom to recognize the Plug-in and the instructions  do not mirror what I see via Creative Cloud. So this may be a call to Adobe which, as I understand it, is more $ for the "incident" to add to the cost of the plug-in I just bought which should be the correct one. So I have posted here and on the Fuji forums to try to find and X-T3 user who has made it work.

I see from your system info that it does list FUJIFILM Tether Plugin PRO. When you open the Plug-in manager (in LR) does it show up?

Ooop, I take that back.  I just restarted everything for the third time and now I see it. I will get back on the thread if I cannot get it started from here. Very weird.

And, now as I know the Plug-in name, I can google on it, and I assume you got it from:

FUJIFILM Tether Shooting Plug-in PRO (Mac)

I do do see some limited instructions as to setup. Now one bit refers to the in camera setting for how the cameras USB port is to behave. An issue can exists with such an instruction as Fujifilm does not appear to be consistent with the options camera model to model. You probably have something like three options, two of which will not work for tethering.

The vid uses an X-T2, so a bit dated and not a perfect match to an X-T3 settings perhaps.

Still not connecting with the camera, but possibly someone on the Fuji sites can help who has similar set up.  I think I am going to be glad I also have a Canon for what I am trying to do....

Thanks, I am also thinking about the USB-C piece.  Tethertools indicates a booster may be necessary for this type of cable.  I think I will switch over to the Canon to make sure that path works.  If it does not, the cable is implicated.
