Easy way- Delete the external editor listing using File Explorer. To be found in a Lightroom folder like-

C:\Users\{YourName}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\External Editor Presets.

The less easy way is- Choose the (uninstalled) External editor preset in the LrC Preferences tab, click the preset dropdown menu and select [Delete Preset 'xxxxx'...]

Danke Andreas

LATEST

"external editors cannot be deleted in Lightroom (it is always "edited" "

Problem- If the external editor in the dialog is showing  { External Name (Edited)  } then this (Edited) version does not yet exist as a permanent preset, so logically it cannot be deleted. It has not yet been 'saved' as a (new altered) preset.

To delete existing Presets -

1) Click in the preset box and Select the External editor preset that you want to delete so it shows in the preset box.   Do NOT alter it in any way.  eg. I want to Delete FOTO-SKETCHER

2) Again- Click in the preset box (Where you see the Preset name you want to Delete).  At the base of the list of presets click on { Delete  preset "Named"....)
