Google Backup and Sync (Google Drive) causes "Lightroom encountered and error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit"

Just FYI,

If you get this error,

"Lightroom encountered and error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit"

It could be 'Google Backup and Sync' (AKA Google Drive). When the backup service is working it seems to cause file access conflicts.

The solution is the exclude the C:\Users\<user>\Pictures\Lightroom\ folder from the back-up.

Thanks for sharing Justin. I've heard a couple of reports recently, all Google Drive related.
