Hello Lightroomers,
I have long wanted to get photos from my smartphone (Android) into LRC. My phone photos backup to Google Photos on my Phone and desktop. How do I take a photo from Google Photos on the desktop and move it into LRC also on my desktop?
Thank you,
Richard

Hi Richard,
Thanks for reaching out. We're here to help.
Which version of Lightroom are you using? Do you have all the photos on your mobile or an external hard drive?
Do you want the images in Lightroom Desktop as well?
If you want to import the images from Google photos, then please, in photos.google.com, select your images. In the upper-right, there is a menu (three vertical dots) where you can choose download. That will put your google photos on your computer as JPEGS. There might be a ZIP folder in which you will get the files, for example, the "photos.ZIP" file. You will have to "extract" them.
With the images now on your computer, you can import them into Lightroom Classic with the "Add " option.
Let us know if this helps.
Regards,
Ranjisha
