Hey there,
I use the HDR Panorama Merge feature a lot. I might be merging up to say 30 photos for a HDR panorama.
As you can imagine, this is quite a lot of data, and can use up a lot of memory.
If I have my task manager open, I can see lightroom RAM increase quickly when producing the panorama, as you would expect.
However, after it has finished, it's still using the same RAM, it doesn't seem to release it. So I might see it sitting idle but using 16GB of RAM, doing nothing.
If I try to produce a few panoramas, it gets slower and slower, and then I have to close Lightroom completely to free up the RAM, open it up again and start merging again.

Unfortunately not! I just have to keep restarting lightroom which is a right pain!
