Hi,
I'm at my wits-end with what to do; I'm not a computer wiz by any means so I'd really appreciate clear help, maybe even with pictures haha.
Overall, I cannot get Lightroom to open, function, or work in anyway, shape, or form. I'm uncertain, but I believe that important information, possibly catalog informaiton was permanently deleted. The repeated message says "The catalog named '_______' was left in an inconsistent state. Lightroom must restore the catalog before proceeding." So I let it sit for a while, no results, I tried to load a few seperate backups and there was zero response, I tried opening a new catelog and had a slight response; the initial "thank you for using lightroom" etc popped up but would not go away or let me access anything else. I've scrolled through forums without having any luck, I've reset the system preferences, but there is absolutely nothing showing up. I ended up un-installing and re-installing but again, no luck. I've got zero clue of what to do and I feel like rubbish, if anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it.
Version of the app: Lightroom 6.0
I use a Macbook Air 13", version macOS 10.12.6 (my laptop software won't let me update to newer versions, no idea why)
I've had this program for around 5-6 years with no issues, I bought the program with one payment instead of paying monthly, I have no idea if people are even able to buy the program in on payment or not anymore. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
