I have lost access to 31 images that previously had been flagged as Picks. The files themselves are still present, but not accessible with Lightroom (along with all the edits that had been made to them. Everything I've tried to get them back has failed. All I can see are the 471 pictures that were never Picks. Any suggestions?
You need to find these photos in Lightroom Classic. Follow all four of these steps in order:
1. In the Lightroom Classic Library Module, on the left, under Catalog, click on All Photographs
2. Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L once or twice)
3. Turn off all stacking (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
4. Search for at least one of these photos by file name using the Lightroom Classic Filter Bar

A small screenshot like this does not say much, but it does say something. You probably have an active filter that filters out images that have a 'Pick' flag. The fact that the screenshot shows "471 of 502" suggests you do.

Johan, many thanks for your interest and taking the time to reply. I have 'Filters Off' in the Library Filter bar. Is there somewhere else where filters may be getting applied?

dj_paige: Many thanks, it worked. I must have inadvertently stacked all the Picks.
Have a good day!
